On this year’s Day of Archaeology I was doing what I enjoy most – talking to the public. At the British Museum we are doing some evaluation about families and so we had a pop-up ‘come and speak to us’ desk running all week. It was bright and colourful with neon signs, images, examples of our activities and certainly attracted the families. We asked them four simple questions taking just a minute or two of their time. Although I may have sneaked in a lot of information about Little Feet, our programme of sessions for families with under 5s, as it is one of my favourite projects!
